Cappuccino: € 2,50
Small and nice coffee bar in one of Berlin's most beautiful areas "Prenzlauer Berg". All cakes and snacks are selfmade! The cappuccino had a good milk foam, the taste will delight everyone who likes a typical dark roasted espresso: I cannot imagine ever tasted a capppuccino with such a dominant, heavy flavour we know typically from Robusta (Canephora) beans. Great cappuccino - delivered! This coffeeplace is a perfect destination for weekend timeout and to enjoy the variety coffee offers. The menu offers 30+ coffees & espressi you can chose from, served for example in a french press. My cappuccino had a beautiful, full and creamy milk foam, the taste of the espresso is complex, yet, not too complex, full-bodied, little acid, rolls over your tongue and tells a little story. It is not too strong and not too mild, just perfectly balanced. My favorite so far! Complementary, i ordered a cherry cake from the huge glass cabinet that is located right at the entrance. When coming with two people you should find a place, when coming with more, i'd advice to make a reservation (tip: take a table in the library in the rear part). We love it! A beautiful place to be! Free wi-fi, excellent coffee (röstbar), cakes & quiches. Feels like one big living room, old furnitures from the 1930's & 1940ies. Perfect place to meet with friends, family, play the piano, work in a nice atmosphere, or just enjoy being! The cappuccino tastes like nuts & chocolate, full good body, little acid.
